Red Rory of the Glen
Through the Highlands of Scotland a company of British soldiers marched, when from above a huge kilted shaggy
figure yelled "I'm Red Rory of the Glen. Send op' yer best mon."
The British colonel said. "Adjutant! Bring me that man's head!"
A British soldier goes charging up the hill. Thumpity thump thump, down comes the
British soldier's head.
"I'm Red Rory of the Glen. Send up your best squad."
The British colonel yells "Bring me that man's head!"
Up charges the squad of British soldiers. A din of battle ensues. Thumpity thump thump.
Down comes the British soldiers heads.
"I'm Red Rory of the Glen. Send up your best company!"
Furious now, the colonel yells "Everybody up there, bring that man's head!" Up charge the British soldiers
and a deafening boom of battle ensues - men yelling, smoke billowing, the clash of steel on steel.
From out of the smoke the Adjutant comes running down the
hill wild eyed, running past the colonel, he screams "Run Sir! It's a trap, there's two of them!"
